Nashville, Tennessee

Full-service, luxury wedding planning serving Nashville and Middle Tennessee since 2019.

Where the Music Starts

CM Event Design was founded in Nashville in 2019, and Middle Tennessee remains the heart of the studio. Christine brought a hotel career spanning more than two decades to it, and is a former President of the Music City Chapter of NACE, the city’s association of catering and event professionals.

That history means deep local roots: the venues, the vendor community, and the rhythm of a Nashville wedding weekend, from downtown hotel ballrooms to Franklin’s estates and farms. Couples fly in from everywhere to marry here. We plan it as locals.

How We Work

A great many Nashville couples are planning from another state. Every engagement is custom built, from full-service planning through our 90-day wedding management entry point, never a package, and it includes the site visits, room blocks and travel logistics that are hard to run from a thousand miles away.

Good to Know

Ten to fourteen months before your date is the sweet spot, and earlier for peak-season Saturdays, when Nashville’s most sought-after venues book 12 to 18 months out. The best months to marry here run April through October, which is exactly when the calendar tightens.

Initial investment starts at $4,500. There is no package pricing beyond that, because there are no packages: what you pay is quoted after a conversation about your venue, your guest count and how much of the planning you want carried for you. The 90-day wedding management entry point is the lightest way in and full-service planning is the fullest.

Full-service planning starts at the beginning and carries venue selection, budget, design and every vendor decision along the way. Ninety-day wedding management steps in for the final stretch, taking over the vendors you have already booked, building the timeline and running the day. Both are built around your wedding rather than a tier sheet.

Christine, supported by Regan Aycock, our Senior Wedding Coordinator. The person you plan with is the person who runs your day, and that does not change as the date gets closer.

Constantly, and it is a large part of what we do here. Nashville is a true fly-in wedding city, and we act as your team on the ground: venue visits, vendor meetings, room blocks and the wedding weekend itself, so you are not choosing a florist from three time zones away.

Three different weddings, all of them Nashville. Downtown puts your guests inside walking distance of the music and the hotels. Franklin gives you historic streets and estate properties, twenty minutes and a world away. The farm and barn venues across Middle Tennessee give you space and a view, and they ask more of the logistics. Your guest list usually points at the answer before you do.

April through October is the strongest run, and it is also when the calendar fills fastest. Late spring and early autumn give you the weather without the deepest heat of high summer. If your date has any flexibility, a Friday or Sunday inside that window opens up venues and vendors a peak Saturday will not.

Nearly everything a hotel provides quietly. Power, restrooms, catering infrastructure, a rain plan, parking and often the tables and chairs themselves are yours to arrange, and the timeline has to account for load-in on an open site. It is entirely worth it for the right couple, and it is the single most common place the work gets underestimated.
